• Freeze juice boxes when packing coolers … they’ll be cool to drink when you’re ready…and help keep the other foods cool.
• Bring extra frisbees - they make great paper plate holders! The kids can turn them over and play once their food is gone!
• Need an extra large cooler? Just fill a child’s plastic pool with ice!

So this is my first post.  I thought long and hard over whether I wanted to become a blogger.  Obviously, I decided I did.  I’m still not sure I have enough to say.  But my husband has faith in my ability to talk!!! <grin>

It is going to take me forever to figure out all the blings that go along with posting a blog. Categories, pictures, bookmarklet, slug -OY! So many terms to learn. 

I would like to see this blog simply become my stitching diary. A weekly look at the progress I make on my stitching projects. Pictures, thoughts, and even links to my website, The Goodie Jar, where some are for sale.

Mostly it is just a way for me to keep track of my projects.
