I was cleaning out my craft closet yesterday and found some crocheted sachets my Gramma made.

It has been a little over a year since Gramma died. She stitched right up to the very end - I think it was her favorite thing to do (followed closely by reading.) Some days I wish I had asked her to teach me to crochet - other days I know I would not have had the patience to learn!
No great revelations here, no philosophical thoughts … just me, missing my gramma …. stopping by to see what doily / table cloth/ project she was working on … discussing what books she was reading, which almost always led to her telling me “don’t read this one, it was nothing but smut!” (you can bet your sweet bippy she read it though!!!)
